June Covid-19 update

Hello everyone! As we are traverse through the “new normal”, we would like to just keep everyone updated on what is happening with us at Sushi Hana Downtown. As many of you may know, beginning June 1st, Missoula will be entering Phase 2 of the Montana reopening process. Food Safety, sanitation, customer and employee safety will remain our top priority during this transition. We ask that you remain patient with us while we transition into this new phase, as increasing our capacity can and will present challenges.

As for the changes. Beginning June 1st, our dollar menus on Monday and Wednesday will not be available for takeout or delivery via DoorDash. We also will be returning to our original hours of 11:30am - 3pm and 5pm-9:00pm. We will be closed from 3pm-5pm, to deep clean the restaurant between lunch and dinner service.

With Phase 2 in effect, we will be able to run at 75% capacity, we will still be implementing social distancing guidelines line out in Phase 1 but will be able to seat tables up to 10 guests. Our sushi bar will still be off limits until Phase 3. Reservations are highly encouraged and will need to be made 24 hours in advance. We will call you to confirm them. May Covid-19 Update

Hello Everyone. First of all, we want to say thank you for your continued support through this tough time and we are truly grateful for such a wonderful community. As many of you may know, we are able to reopen our dining room on May 4th.  We’re going to give it a shot, but if at any time we feel that we are unable to ensure the safety of everyone, we will immediately suspend dine-in service. Sanitation, food safety, and employee screening is nothing new for us, but balancing social distancing between our employees, dine-in guests, and take out customers presents some unique challenges and we ask for your cooperation.

We will have a designated area for take-outs.  Please respect other customers social distancing. Restrooms may not be available for to-go customers. Customers picking up orders to-go will be asked to wait in a designated area. If that area is full, you may be asked to wait outside while we prepare your order. DoorDash drivers should wait in their vehicles until they’ve received notification their order is ready to be picked up.

During Phase 1, we cannot seat anyone at the sushi bar or accommodate groups of more than 6 people per table. We will limit the total amount of dine-in guests to 40 people. Tables will be adequately spaced apart to help with social distancing guidelines and we will also be using the upstairs mezzanine to seat dine-in guests. You will want to make reservations though our website (CLICK HERE) or by phone (406)549-7979. As a reminder, on-line reservations need to be made 24hours in advance and we will call you to confirm them.

April COVID-19 Update

We just wanted to take a moment to update all of you and what is going with Sushi Hana Downtown. As many of you know, the state of Montana has placed regulations on restaurants and bars to help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are currently providing take-out and delivery only (via Doordash). For take-out, we will be offering our normal menu, beer, wine, sake, and our dollar menu items. As for delivery, we are using DoorDash. Our dollar menu items and alcohol are not available for delivery at this time. Please click HERE for more info.

We are offering growler fills of Kirin Ichiban for $6 and are offering 20% off all bottles of beer, wine, sake. When ordering growlers, please provide your own with a lid if possible, we will sanitize them when you come to pick up your order.

When ordering take-out please have payment ready to help get you out the door faster. Please abide by common social distancing protocols to help minimize contact. If any other accommodations need to be met, please let us know. We are open to any and all suggestions to help do our part to make our community feel comfortable.
