Our Story

Hana is Montana’s original Japanese restaurant located downtown in beautiful Missoula, Montana.  Japanese owned and operated, we specialize in sushi, but have a wide variety of authentic Japanese dishes such as ramen, curry, teriyaki, katsu, and tempura. We have a carefully curated sake collection with over 30 selections as well as a full beer and wine list. When we opened in in 1998, Hana was the first sushi bar and Japanese restaurant in Montana making us “The First Best Sushi Bar in the Last Best Place”.
