Chizuko ‘Chi’ Olson founded Hiiragi.Asia in 2013 after the Olson Family relocated home to Missoula, Montana from Singapore. Chi is originally from Japan and grew up in the old town of Tokyo near Asakusa. She has lived in many countries across Asia and travelled extensively around the World. 

Hiiragi is promoting and teaching Japanese cuisine, home decor, fashion, culture, language and arts across Montana and the Northern Rockies Region. Chi wants to introduce the great Japanese craftsmanship to everyday life style. She loves to wear traditional Kimonos and is licensed and certified in Japan to dress precisely in historical fashion.

Hiiragi’s newest product line includes antique Japanese Obi table and bed runners. Chi personally hand-selects the fabric and materials and re-sews the Obi’s to create unique, Made-In-Montana products.
