“My art is based on what I find funny, absurd, or outrageous. I exaggerate common objects, materials, and common symbols in my drawings and practice. For example, my drawing series, Fish and Human Sushi Restaurant, cartoon-like fish are presented in a restaurant making ‘human sushi’. I do this to reflect upon our everyday lives and to put into perspective what we eat and consider food.”
